Three individuals dressed in weird clothing enter a dark pyramid like structure. There are dark foreboding dream like purple clouds running fast though the Sky. One of them is Kai, a male. Next to him is Joy, a short radiantly beautiful girl she is maybe 20 or 21.
“I tell you this place is bad.” Kai says to Joy. “Look I know, I’ve been here before.
“Really.” She replies.
Suddenly Snooze, the third person, a lonely type figure speaks up in a skeptical voice.
“What are you talking about, those are just rumors.”
They come to the entrance of the Pyramid structure. Two guards seated at the entrance watch them closely. As they pass by.
“See!” Kai says. “Did you see those guys! That’s what I’m talking about!”
They continue walking down a dark, gray drab hallway. A single light blinks on and off. The hallway is kind of like those basement corridors beneath office buildings. The kind you would not want to walk though in the middle of the night.
Kai continues to walk but is very uneasy. He keeps looking behind and around as if he suspects someone is watching him.
“Look, relax, ok. Everything’s going to be just fine.” Says Snooze confidently.
Eventually they come to a door in the hallway.
“Well I guess this is our room.” Says Joy.
They unlock the door and enter the room. It is a stark dorm room with no windows. It is made of dark gray concrete. There is a single speaker in the ceiling above them. There is a closet made of concrete. They methodically unpack and go to bed. As Kai gets under the covers he whispers to the others.
“I’m telling you guys there is something weird about this place.”
“Good night Kai.” says Joy.
They go to bed but no sooner has Kai turned over to go to sleep than a man dressed in black jumps out from under his bed. Totally shocked Kai yells to the others.
“See I told you! Look!”
The mysterious figure is now standing over Kai pointing his finger straight in Kai’s face. He yells at Kai.
“You’re no good! You suck! You’re a bad person! You’ll never amount to anything! You’re guilty! You understand. You can’t do anything right!”
The other two look on but strangely Snooze is still asleep and Joy has a peaceful contented look as if she is not fazed one bit.
“Get away from me!” Yells Kai
Kai pushes the man and they tumble. The man keeps going like some kind of robotic automation. The man continues to screams at Kai.
“You’ve lost it! Look at you! All washed up! Everything you do is bad! You never did anything right and never will!”
“Shut up!!!” Kai Screams back.
They struggle, rolling across the floor, wrestling. Kai pins him to the floor. The man continues non-stop.
“You can’t do anything! You aught to be ashamed, shamed! Here me! You’re a good for nothin’! You’re scared! You’re weak! You ain’t got no backbone! Everything you touch falls apart. You’re worthless!”
“I said shut up!!!” Yells Kai.
Kai grabs him by the face and presses down on it. The Man’s face turns to plastic and his voice sounds like a broken recording going in slower and slower motion.
“You’rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre.”
Suddenly as Kai applies pressure, The Man’s face disintegrates into rolls of film.
“What tha!” Says Kai totally shocked.
Kai is swimming in a pile of film. The man has disappeared. Kai frantically gets up. He yells to the others.
“See! What’d I tell you, this place is evil!”
Joy is still unfazed by it all. Snooze is not paying attention. He just stares straight like he’s in a trance. Suddenly, an alarm sounds and there’s an announcement over the lone loud speaker in the ceiling. It repeats over and over.
“Get them. They’re in the room. Don’t let them escape. Get them now. Get them. Don’t let them escape.”
Kai yells to the others.
“Come on! We have to get the hell out of here!”
Kai goes to Snooze and shakes him but he is in some kind of a trance. Kai heads for the door. But he stops and turns to Joy. She is still sitting there peacefully. Kai is frantic, in a panic not knowing what to do. He motions for her to follow.
“Come on!!!”
Snooze says nothing, he is still in a trance of some sort. Kai turns to Joy.
“Are you coming or what! You can’t stay here!”
Joy replies calmly.
“Sure, I’ll come.”
The blast continues from the loud speaker.
“Get them. They’re in their room. Don’t let them escape. Get them now. Get them. Don’t let them escape.”
Kai grabs Joy’s hand and heads for the door but before he gets there he sees their stuff in the closet. It’s now full of junk! He pauses.
“I don’t remember bringing all that junk?”
Kai pauses trying to decided whether to take it or not and then reaches for the items. Joy stops him.
“You don’t need it.” She says.
“Yeah, there’s no time, come on!” Replies Kai.
They open the door and Kai looks down an infinitely long hallway lined with doors. That stretch on and on and on. He looks the other way and sees the same thing. After making sure the coast is clear. He gathers his strength and decides to make a run for it. He starts to run right but as soon as he does Joy calmly grabs his arm.
“No,” …
Then with a calm emphasis she says.
“this way.”
Kai is shocked at her reaction but then notices that there is a door right across from them. He follows her. Right before they get to the door it opens. A Girl in rollers opens the door, she checks to make sure the coast is clear and waves them in. They hurry in.
She hurries them into her dorm room, which is decorated like a country picnic. Next to her bed is a small square door. She opens the door and a secret passage is revealed. Joy leads Kai to the passage and turns to him and says.
“Do you trust me?” Kai hesitates…
“Yea, I trust you.” Joy smiles at him.
It’s dark. They go thought the secret passage, though a long tunnel but eventually come to an underground boat dock with several paddle boats. There is a control room above it with two guards at the controls.
They sneak into one of the paddle boats and start to paddle. Alarms sound and we see the guards running to the boat dock. The guards get in the paddle boats and chase them.
The guards repeat monotonously, “Get them! Stop them!”
The guards are frantically paddling their boats but the boat Kai and Joy are on just glides effortlessly above the water. They come to a terrace waterfall that is flowing upside down. At the top is an opening and we can see a beautiful blue sky with white clouds and bright sun at the top. When they get there they magically rise up the waterfall to the top. The guards reach the waterfall but are too late. They are clumsy and all run into each other like automatons. We still hear the guards talking in the distance.
“Get them stop them! Get them stop them!”
When Kai and Joy get to the top they blend into a golden white light and disappear.
The white light fades into a beautiful white condo with light wood floors and glass windows from top to bottom. We see a beautiful heavenly beach scene outside and back in the condo Kai is sitting relaxed in a chair staring out the window. Joy is there also, looking really beautiful. She is messaging his shoulders. Suddenly Kai realizes where he is. He starts looking around frantically.
“What!” Kai Blurts out in a panic “Where are we! What happened!? “Wait we have to get out of here right now! they’re coming!”
“No,” Joy says calmly reassuring him. “They’re gone. You’re perfectly safe now. Relax.”
“No!” Kai responds. “It’s a trick! You’re working with them!”
“It’s me remember?” Joy responds, cute but puzzled. “Don’t you trust me?”
She kisses him on the forehead. Kai then relaxes realizing he is just being paranoid. He reaches up and grabs her hand.
“Oh yeah, of course I trust you.”
